Our client, a boutique geopolitical consulting firm specializing in technology and global politics, is seeking an experienced Senior US Technology Policy Analyst to track and analyze the evolving US technology policy landscape, with a particular focus on US-China relations.

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the expanding US technology policy framework, including export controls, investment regimes, trade measures, and policies like the ICTS supply chain rule and know-your-customer requirements. The analyst will play a critical role in helping the firm's clients navigate the impact of US-China competition over emerging technologies, providing insights into how these dynamics affect global supply chains, corporate strategies, and diplomatic considerations.

Core Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze developments in US technology policy, with a focus on export controls, investment regulations, trade measures, and targeted policies that influence global flows of technology, data, capital, and talent.
Provide clients with timely, actionable insights on emerging geopolitical trends and policy shifts, evaluating their implications for the technology sector and international supply chains.
Contribute to thought leadership on the intersection of technology and geopolitics, representing the firm at conferences, policy events, and forums.

Ideal Candidate:

At least 7 years of professional experience, with preference for candidates with experience in the US government or related fields.
Expertise in US technology policy and its geopolitical consequences.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and offer actionable insights.
Ability to anticipate and respond to fast-changing policy environments.
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
