The Role: As a Senior China Intelligence Specialist – Government Client Success, you will play a vital role in the success of our clients in the U.S. federal defense and intelligence agencies where you will be working with senior decision-makers and analysts. Working with your own portfolio of clients, you’ll lead research projects, support business development, provide product demonstrations, host training sessions, and play an integral role in contract renewals and expansions. As an expert on our China OSINT platform, you will set up strategic dialogues with clients and prospects and develop a long-term strategy to ensure we’re constantly evolving our understanding of our customers' needs.
Your mission at Datenna:
· Lead strategic dialogue with clients and prospects within the defense and intelligence community
· Work with our team of China experts to manage the success of our USG clients
· Gather client insights and drive the feedback process to our engineering team to ensure our product evolves to meet our client’s needs
What makes you a great candidate:
· 10+ years of relevant work experience
· Demonstrated knowledge of China’s foreign policy, politics, and military
· Proven track record in managing and fostering strategic customer relationships
· Superior research, writing, and public presentation skills
· Strong problem-solving mindset with a collaborative approach, skilled in both tactical execution and long-term strategic planning
· Strategic, empathetic, and driven to consistently exceed client expectations
Preferred qualifications:
· Work experience in the US defense or intelligence community
· Mandarin Chinese language capability
· Knowledge of China’s military civil fusion, dual circulation, and other Chinese government policies
· Ability to obtain a security clearance
· Experience in a startup or entrepreneurial environment

- This is a full-time position based in our Alexandria, VA office or remote within the Washington, DC metro area.
