Our client is a boutique global political risk analysis and advisory firm headquartered in New York, working with a broad base of private sector clients across multiple industries, with a specialty in the energy sector. Projects include work on security, sanctions, country-level insights, new market entry strategy, emerging market investment strategy and stakeholder mapping.
The firm is seeking a research coordinator for a full-time role based in New York (at least three days/week in office). This role will be responsible for staying on top of all incoming client requests, managing workflow across the analytical platform and ensuring quality and timeliness of research delivery. A significant portion of time will also be spent on copy editing.
Core Requirements:
- A passion for international relations and global politics; energy sector expertise welcomed, but not required for this role.
- 2-3 years of experience in political risk, policy risk, business intelligence, think tank or similar environment
- 1-2 years of experience with research management, project management and/or copyediting.
- High attention to detail and ability to understand how the firm's research is consumed by clients.
- Hands-on attitude and willingness to work in a client-first, collaborative and low-hierarchy environment.
Must be able to work in the office in New York City on a regular basis.
