Emergent Risk International (ERI) is seeking to hire a Global Threat Analysis Program Manager to work with a global threat monitoring and analysis team with a major technology company.
The Program Manager must have at least three years’ experience managing a threat monitoring or intelligence program in addition to at least three years’ experience as an intelligence or threat monitoring analyst. Those without prior personnel management experience will not qualify for consideration for the role.
This role can be based in either Charleston, South Carolina or Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a hybrid role. Work hours may be split between the company’s office and working from home.
Overview: The team monitors, tracks, analyzes and reports on actual/potential threats to the client’s corporate assets, operations, or personnel on a 24/7/365 basis.
Who We’re Looking For: We are seeking an experienced intelligence program manager with a passion for intelligence programs, capable of handling multiple and competing priorities, briefing top executives while applying their experience to lead a diverse, multi-country team of analysts to produce a range of intelligence products and services.
This individual will work closely with client leadership to ensure the efficient and streamlined productivity of the threat monitoring and intelligence teams, while also serving as a key point of contact for client briefings, reviewing and iterating intelligence products and services and overall program processes.

● Consulting: We help companies develop and improve their intelligence programs, providing end-to-end support; from assessing needs and providing analysis to recruiting and hiring highly qualified candidates.
● Embedded Analyst Services: We support our clients with embedded analysts, full- and part-time, short- and long-term. Our embedded analysts work directly for our clients, allowing them the benefit of employing intelligence professionals trained to ERI’s strict standards of competency and continually professionally developed by ERI’s senior leadership, armed with access to ERI’s proprietary tools and deep backbench of in-house subject matter experts.
Position Description
● Lead day-to-day operations and production for threat monitoring and analysis globally, both operationally and administratively, according to established requirements; ensure operational excellence.
● Ensure established processes, procedures and SOPs are followed.
● Create and maintain operational reports for KPIs and quarterly metrics.
● Document and oversee administrative and human resources concerns for team, including training and disciplinary issues.
● Identify areas for efficiencies and process improvements.
● Perform content and copy editing on threat monitoring and intelligence analysis products, as needed.
● Produce well-informed, concise, relevant, high-quality slides that display appropriate context tailored to varied stakeholders and business needs.
● Prepare and deliver initial and ongoing training. Oversee ongoing professional development of team, to include ensuring appropriate delegation of tasks such that subordinates have opportunities to take on stretch assignments that foster their growth.
● Participate in leadership team meetings and escalate issues/challenges; offer solutions to address.
● Collaborate and coordinate regularly with ERI leadership on team challenges, development of products and services and client priorities and concerns.
● Learn client suite of tools for communication, workflow tracking, and dashboards.
● Prepare and perform periodic updates to SOPs, playbooks, training materials, business reviews, and other such documents.
● Establish and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders globally.
● Develop and maintain intelligence relationships both in the public/private sector to ensure continued awareness of industry best practices and awareness of emerging threat activity.
● Participate in on-call rotational responsibilities to support routine threat reporting and crisis communication.
● Oversee scheduling and ensure coverage is maintained according to established requirements.
● Lead other projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 6 years relevant work experience.
● At least 3 years’ experience managing an intelligence program and multiple intelligence analysts.
● Superior writing skills, with strong attention to detail.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
● Superior research/OSINT skills.
● Quick-thinking and response time during crisis events.
● Professional demeanor / Positive attitude.

● Ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and prioritize accordingly.

Remuneration: This role will be a full-time (40 hours per week) salaried position working Monday - Friday but may occasionally include weekend work. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
