We’re seeking three dynamic and skilled analysts with a passion for solving complex problems and delivering concise, impactful analysis.
As a Global Affairs Analyst, you will deliver tailored, concise intelligence to clients, combining OSINT expertise with deep regional and industry knowledge on a daily basis. Working closely with a collaborative team, you’ll analyse emerging trends, forecast risks, and provide actionable insights to help clients navigate complex global challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor global news and emerging events, focusing on geopolitical, political, economic, and business developments.
- Deliver concise and timely bespoke geopolitical analysis for clients, synthesising complex developments into actionable insights.
- Immerse yourself in the specific needs and challenges of each client, producing tailored reports aligned with their industry, region, and strategic priorities.
- Utilise advanced OSINT methodologies to uncover critical developments and provide deeper context beyond the headlines.
- Collaborate with a close-knit team of analysts, sharing insights and expertise to refine deliverables and anticipate client needs.
- Analyse, forecast, and articulate the implications of geopolitical risks in various industries, highlighting opportunities and potential disruptions.
- Stay ahead of global trends, ensuring clients receive unparalleled insights into political, economic, and security developments.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Demonstrable expertise in geopolitical risk analysis with a strong focus on forecasting and contextualising developments.
- Proficiency in OSINT tools and techniques, with experience leveraging a wide range of open-source platforms and methodologies.
- Regional expertise in one or more key areas (e.g., Europe, Middle East, Asia, or Latin America) and an understanding of relevant industries such as finance, energy, or manufacturing.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for distilling complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a team and directly with clients.
- The ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs.
- Availability to work on weekends as required.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Advanced degree in International Relations, Political Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 2+ years of experience in geopolitical risk analysis, risk consultancy, or a related field.
- Multilingual capabilities, particularly in languages relevant to the chosen region of expertise.
- Familiarity with industry-standard OSINT platforms and GSOC environments.
